We require Home Carers, providing care and support to people so that they remain independent and live happy, fulfilled lives. You will provide person-centred care, which promotes independence through enabling approaches and connecting people to local groups and services.
As a Community Care Support Worker, you will spend your time out in the community visiting our customers and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.
All of our service users have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:
Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community

Experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided if you’re new to care.

Paid for 5 days of induction training
Completion of the Care Certificate across a 12 week period working with our dedicated trainer
Excellent career pathways, progression within the organisation actively encouraged
Fully funded opportunities to enroll on the level 2 Health and Social Care qualification once you have completed your six month probation
Full time/ Part time (07:00am – 2:00pm or 3:30pm – 10:00pm including one Saturday or Sunday, or alternate weekends)
