Health and Social Care


As a Community Care Support Worker, you will spend your time out in the community visiting our customers and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.
All of our service users have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:
  • Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
  • Administration/prompting of medication
  • Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
  • Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
  • Assisting people to remain independent within the community

Experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided if you’re new to care.

Eligibility Required:

  • Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.
  • Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring.
  • Available at least one evening per week until 10pm; able to work alternate weekends or one weekend day every week

Training and Learning:

  • Paid induction, care certificate, level 2 & 3 in health and social care
  • Other benefits: paid DBS, gift vouchers for birthdays and Christmas, refer a friend scheme


  • Paid for 5 days of induction training
  • Completion of the Care Certificate across a 12 week period working with our dedicated trainer
  • Excellent career pathways, progression within the organisation actively encouraged
  • Fully funded opportunities to enroll on the level 2 Health and Social Care qualification once you have completed your six month probation

£9.30 per hour
Under 25s – your hourly rate will be no different from the rate stated
