Instead of a CV, you answer questions that let you show off your values and strengths so employers can see the real you.

Get personal feedback

You will also get personal, constructive feedback from employers, whether or not your application is successful.

What jobs would you like to do?

We are dedicated to helping you find a job that you’re passionate about. We believe that the key to this is understanding your personal strengths and how your values fit with those of a company. We are here to help you to:

  • Recognise your unique strengths
  • Understand what sort of a job you want
  • Write a great application to help you get the job

So, what are your values?

Put simply, these are the things that matter most to you. Do you value kindness and compassion most of all? Or maybe you value always learning new things? There’s not a right or wrong answer the this – everyone’s values will be slightly different.

Once you know your own values, you can look for businesses who value the same things. This helps you to find a company that will be a good fit for you to work in.

Don’t worry if you aren’t sure what your values are, we have some more information and a list of what they might be to help you figure this out.

I know my values, what do I do now?

That’s great! Now you just need to register on our jobs board (so you can log in and track you progress) and have a look for a job you want to apply for.

How do I apply for a job?

Our jobs board is a bit different to most – for the first stage of applying for our jobs you won’t be asked to show a CV. This means that you have the chance to let your values and unique skills really shine to the employers.

All you have to do is tell us a bit more about your achievements and answer a few questions about how your would be a great fit for the role.

We have a list of achievements that you can select from but don’t worry if you haven’t done them all – they are just examples of some things that you could talk about in your answers.

What are the questions I have to answer?

We have three questions that we will always ask. They are:

  1.   Of these achievements [referring to the list above], which will help you most in this role and why?
  2.  If you were offered the job, how would you positively impact the business?
  3.  Is there anyhing else that you would like to share that would positively impact your application?

When you are answering these questions you should write in full sentences and check your spelling and grammar. Make sure that you provide exampels to show how you would do something rather than just saying that you would, and be clear and concise. Overall your answers to these questions should be about 250-300 words. 

Employers can also add a couple of their own questions at this stage. Answers these questions in the same way as you have the ones above, making sure that you are giving examples relevant to the job you are applying for. 

Some top tips!

  • Make sure you write answers specifically for the job you are applying for
  • Check over your spelling and grammar again before you hit submit
  • Check your phone and emails - employers might be trying to contact you
